Creative Thoughts
Juliette Ripley-Dunkelberger works to make the invisible visible. Her work embodies internal processes (both physiological and psychological) in the physical world.
She has studied the neurological processes that develop innovative ideas and support artistic improvisation. These nueral networks incorporate the whole brain (not just the right brain) and can be specifically found by fMRIs. Each of these patterns are diverse networks which are dependent on the work being done.
Artistically, Juliette has created forms to stand for what an individual idea or creative process may look like. These whimsical representations of creative thinking vary in texture, form, and color, just as our personal creative processes and ideas vary from person to person. What might your ideas look like?
